Beskrivelse
Taking its name from the historic figure of Sir Christopher Hatton, rumoured to have been a lover of Elizabeth I, the traditional pub serves a tasty menu of British food in a welcoming environment. Close to Holborn and London’s Hatton Garden, the pub boasts a large outdoor seating area for sun-drenched al fresco dining in warm weather.
Since Nicholson’s pubs were first established in 1873, these traditional British inns have become synonymous with warm hospitality, hearty pub food and a speciality range of ales. As well as always featuring British pub classics like beer-battered fish & chips and gammon & eggs, the Sir Christopher Hatton menu is complemented by a rotating selection of pie, sausage & chop and fish specials for each season.
The Sir Christopher Hatton bar is always stocked with exquisite gins, warming whiskies and fine wines to pair with favourite meals, and there’s always a superb range of seasonal and regional real ales on offer. A constant at the bar is the St Austell-brewed Nicholson’s Pale Ale, made with Cornish Maris Otter malts, and a hand-picked blend of English hops.
The Sir Christopher Hatton in Chancery Lane is a 3-minute walk from Chancery Lane Tube Station.

Nice place, very average food (below average for this area). Service takes some time. We were given the wrong food too.

Lovely old fashioned pub with proper home cooked food. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommended
