A delightfully eccentric hideaway near Oxford Circus, sketch Glade offers quirky breakfasts, an elegant brunch, and evening cocktails. The magic surrounding this woodland bar is created by artists Carolyn Quartermaine and Didier Mahieu. A découpage forest of handcrafted wallpaper and the fairytale carpet is the perfect setting for brunch.
Gourmet breakfasts are served sketch style, with twists on the full English, delicious eggs and a variety of rainbow-coloured, fresh fruit juice mixes. Served throughout the day, a range of updated brunch dishes include parmesan risotto, black pudding with pork belly, and the classic 9 Conduit Street.
Cream tea is served with rare tea infusions, exotic coffees and pastries, alongside gâteau chocolat, raspberry tart and Victoria sponge cake.
A wide array of cocktails are served long into the evening, with signature Bloody Marys, aromatic spritzers, and a sumptuous selection of wine. Oxford Circus Tube Station is a 4-minute walk away.

My husband and I were visiting from the US and went for lunch. It was one of the hi lights of our trip. The atmosphere is so innovative and creative. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I wouid love to return. I would recommend anyone who wants a special meal and experience to try it.

Aesthetic - fabulous. Food was shockingly expensive and much room for improvement, considering taste and portion size and variety (vegan and vegetarian options lacking). Drinks were overly expensive for London, but you are in a Mayfair postcode. If all you’re going here for is to see the restaurant, then you’re better off eating elsewhere and just visiting the bar. The toilets are definitely worth the visit.

The staff ar e very pro active, warm and friendly toward there customers they make eye contract with the customer and they very helpful regarding dietary requirements. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The decor is relaxing restful and peaceful. Although it does get noisy when full.

Atmosphere at the restaurant is the best attribute, from the front door to the seating area, and even in the accessories (restrooms, coat check etc.).

Lunch at Sketch was a fabulous experience. The food is served in small portions but with such pomp and ceremony that is quite delightful.

Absolutely amazing! The venue was gorgeous. It’s best to book, as there was long queues of people waiting to get in. We dined at the ‘glade’ room. It was like an enchanted, fairytale garden. The others rooms looked just as amazing. One must also visit the toilets! A brilliant dining experience. Good food, great service, amazing venue and atmosphere. Not cheap, but well worth it. I asked for a nice table, for my husband’s birthday, and they were very accommodating.
