Arviot The Slaughters Country Inn

We had a super celebratory family lunch on a rather soggy day. The restaurant was full, but well spaced and the servers wore masks at all times, and were very attentive. I enjoyed a delicious meal - smoked salmon starter, and celeriac/blue cheese risotto main - perfect portion sizes and both dishes well seasoned and tasty. Overall would highly recommend.

Lovely lunch. Some of the dishes served were not as described on the menu and not made aware of this. Mainly the children’s desserts.

Food very good, staff couldn't have been nicer and the distance between tables was excellent, with a lot of Covid care. Lovely situation in Lower Slaughter.

Beautiful location, great food, good Covid safety precautions

A lovely place to eat and enjoy some restful time. We ate the meat sharing platter. Our food was good but perhaps too much for just two people. The bread was fresh but hard to chew; the ham of good quality as was the pork pie. Possibly the number of people for whom the sharing platter is designed could be indicated on the menu? To have only one real ale available was disappointing.
