A grand pub in the quiet side streets of South Kensington, The Devonshire Arms has eclectic style and a packed menu of gourmet international recipes. The huge covered beer garden is an ideal hangout whatever the weather, and the roasts are a popular Sunday attraction.
The Devonshire Arms menu is packed with a great variety of hearty pub recipes made with seasonal ingredients. Fish finger baps are made using Aspall Cyder batter, while the beef brisket sandwich uses USDA smoked beef and pickled red chillies. Sides like truffle mac 'n' cheese bites are perfect to share, and there are British favourites such as mint-glazed lamb rump with crushed heritage potatoes, as well as vegetarian dishes like Spitfire Ale shallot tart.
Rich, indulgent desserts at The Devonshire Arms South Kensington include lemon and wild blueberry ricotta cheesecake with British strawberry compote, while the drink menu includes Cask Marque accredited ales, international beers, fine wines and artisan spirits.
Featuring grand design touches like chandeliers and stags' heads on the walls, The Devonshire Arms London is a great example of modern British pub comfort. High Street Kensington Tube Station is 6 minutes' walk away.

The service was great and the food was delicious as always. Food came a bit slow this time but seems like a one-off situation.

Booked table for 9 people in advance. Table was ready with my name on it on arrival. Great deal for lunch menu which included a drink for around £9.00. Ordered a fish in a bun and came out the same time as everyone else's. Food was tasty hot and fresh. Overall great experience and recommended

We were a bit mislead by the booking system, this is a pub and not a restaurant. An excellent pub. Great food, wide range of beers, good service and friendly staff.

Total waste of time booking a table with a special request as both ignored upon arrival. Pub was extremely busy and asked to try and find a table ourselves as waitress was just too busy. Managed to get a seat inside at back which on extremely hot day was just too warm. Decided just to stay and order food which you had to go up to busy bar yourself to order and pay upfront. Got wine but no wine chiller available which meant wine was warm fairly quickly. Food average and certainly not enormous portions that trip advisor reviews would lead you to believe.

4 adults, 3 kids seated at large table in center of bar which was great for us until the match started and it was sooo loud. Understandable since it was a Euro match but it wasn't a huge game and not many watching the only TV in the room but the volume was way too high for dining. Food was really pretty good, better than I remembered from 5 years ago. Burger was very juicy and husband enjoyed sausages. Kids fish was also nice though their chips didn't look fresh. Overall we were happy, it's a lively place to meet up with friends.
