LEGGERO Soho is the only Italian entirely gluten-free restaurant in the UK accredited by Coeliac UK. Vegan and vegetarian-friendly, LEGGERO offers fresh, homemade pasta and classic Italian flavours
The flavour-rich LEGGERO menu is led by homemade pasta and ravioli. The menu begins with a selection of small plates, including duck breast with red berries sauce, stuffed calamari or the pork on Portobello mushroom with beetroot cream.
Main dishes include handmade sorghum and hemp basil tagliatelle served with almond flakes, pesto and tomatoes, and ravioli stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and beetroot, whilst tiramisu and almond and orange cake are amongst the rich desserts. From the bar, sample a range of classic and signature cocktails, as well as a lengthy Italian wine list.

The food was amazing and safe for me to eat! The bolognese was phenomenal and so was the ravioli. The wine selection was great and desert was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I recently became gluten free for health reasons. I can now say I will be able to enjoy tasty pasta. The vegan options were amazing. My non vegan friend loved the vegan brownie and the vegan parmesan (more than the non vegan option). Thanks to the chef for creating this great choices and proof that vegan gluten free food is delicious.

My brother and I were very excited to come here - finally an Italian place that caters to both our dietary requirements (vegan and dairy intolerant). The homemade focaccia and vegan ragu canelloni we had were absolutely delicious and very digestible indeed. The service was warm and friendly. I would love to give 5 stars everywhere, however the pasta portion was just too small for £10 - two tiny canelloni that were more like a snack rather than a main dish. Hence portion-wise, Leggero seemed like a rip-off. We left still feeling quite hungry and in search of more food.

I have been several times at Leggero and have always had a pleasant time. As I am allergic to gluten, dairy & walnuts I most appreciate the professionalism when it comes to handling food & accommodating allergies. Staff is always friendly and patient when I asked questions and their awareness and knowledge is on a really high level. Also, the pasta dishes are incredible. The salmon ravioli were my favourite. The Leggero salad is amazing as well, and very filling & satisfying. Unfortunately, if one wanted to come on a date night, it is not the ideal place to go, as tables are too narrow to have a private conversation. I guess (as it was always well visited when I came), that one ore two tables could be put aside during evening hours to make it more spacious and romantic. Yet the mediterranean flair and the authentic Italian make up for the tight space and make you feel as if one was sitting next to the Adriatic Sea.
