We went early for a pre theatre meal and so the restaurant was empty. We were immediately seated and a wine order taken and menus distributed. There was plenty of choice, I chose the steak and mushroom pie and my two colleagues chose the ribs. My pie was excellent the meat was tender and the gravy was rich and tasty, the two girls ribs spread over the end of the plates and were superb, falling off the bone and with a spicy flavour on the skin. Our only problem was that we had ordered a large portion of chicken wings to share as a starter but they arrived with the main course, a misunderstanding with the waiter, that said they were good with plenty of meat on the bone.
