This is a regular for us when we meet at Waterloo station. Great little pub with and excellent range of beers. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. Vegetarian option is available. Helpful staff.

I met up with an old friend for mid week lunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I'd previously had Sunday lunch at The White Hart which was good (lamb roast). However the midweek menu is limited. My friend and I chose steak and cheese sandwich with fries. When it arrived it looked ok (ish). We embarked on a game of hunt the steak and found a tough strip of leather hidden inside each of the two quarter sandwiches. It wasn't great I have to say! In conclusion I'd say by all means go for a Sunday roast but avoid the cheese and steak sandwich.

Met a friend there for lunch; main criteria was "must accept dogs". The pub is bright and pleasant; bit of queue to get served but not too bad. A nice little public house.

Don't eat there! Vegetables were inedible and mashed potato had the weirdest taste. Told waitress when she asked but she didn't seem to care. Don't waste your money here on food. Wine wasn't too good either
