An intimate neighbourhood restaurant in Bayswater, C&R IZAKAYA serves up colourful, beautifully presented sushi and other Japanese treats. Funky interior style includes a dramatic 'wooden wave' ceiling, and a sleek bar area that mixes up inventive cocktails and mocktails.

Traditional Japanese cooking methods are used to prepare the C&R IZAKAYA menu, using the finest ingredients. A great selection of sushi and sashimi delicacies include yellow tail, soft shell crab, and creative flavours like sweet prawn with caviar and truffle oil. Celebrated Wagyu beef is served, as well as mouthwatering skewers of chicken, shiitake mushroom and eel, perfect for sharing. There are also charcoal grill delicacies, and popular bento boxes.

Desserts at C&R IZAKAYA in Bayswater are just as colourful, and include treats ranging from exotic fruit platters to green tea fondant with a homemade chocolate sphere and white chocolate stream. From the bar, there are Japanese spirits, beers and signature cocktails.

    Great food - true to Japanese cuisine. I loved the Chilean Sea bass (try it!). I will be coming back for sure.

    C&R Izakaya is very good. Wider selection than might be expected from traditional Japanese izakaya - not just robata but sushi, rolls, bento boxes etc. - but good selection of dishes, sake and excellent service. Well worth a visit
