We booked for a birthday for my son. When we sat down we ordered our drinks, which took 15 mins to arrive. By this time we had ordered our starters and eaten them but not received our drinks. After this we hadn't yet ordered our main meal because the server didnt ask us. We then had to go and find someone to place our order. Not once did anyone come over to ask us for more drinks etc. It was most annoying and im not used to this service in Frankie & Bennys, has i do go regulary.

Visited for my son's 13th birthday as Frankie and Benny's is his favourite restaurant. First time to the one in Burtonwood and unfortunately not a fantastic first experience. It took a while to take our drinks order, so much so that by the time they came to take the order, we ordered the food at the same time. Drinks then took too long to come. Sadly the food also took a while and the waiter apologised that the table next to ours came out before ours after they had arrived and ordered after ourselves. Most food was okay however I had ordered steak and noticed that there was no mushroom. A waitress went to get one however my food was also luke warm so I sent it back. I'm not normally someone who is too fussy however at this price point I feel the experience should be a good one. By the time my second plate came which was indeed hot and tasty all the other diners were well through their meals. .....while I was waiting for my second meal a waitress did appear with what looked like a shocking example of a fresh flat mushroom that was missing from my first plate. When she saw I had no plate she seemed lost as to what to do with the mushroom! My kids found it all amusing. When you visit a place like this you expect that efficient American dining experience with great food and professional service with personality to match. Unfortunately that was lacking somewhat on this occasion. Disappointing because we have enjoyed several good dining experiences at Frankie's in Altrincham. I sensed that the level of attention and customer service fell away once they'd replaced my meal other than to check once if everything okay. If someone asked me about Frankie's I'd still reflect positive experiences however it wouldn't be one that would roll off my tongue if I was asked to suggest a place.
