Food was good but slow to arrive Service very poor, as only 2 people serving in restaurant and bar area Not recommended in December if want a quickish lunch

Hi we dined at FB in Thurrock on Sunday 6th of December for my daughter Jasmines 14th Birthday. Initially we waited for our table for around 25 minutes even though we booked it for 6pm. After being seated we again waited for service to start (though understood as it was busy). However the waited that served us (tall dark with charm) was very nice, nothing was to much trouble for him. The food was yummy and we enjoyed our drinks/cocktails too. The same waiter checking (not to often) that all was ok. Towards the end he came over and discretely took away the bd cake that we had brought with us, returning with it lit and singing happy birthday with the crew. A evening had by us all! ??

We are a family of four, children aged 12 and 17. We love eating here because there is a good choice of food satisfying my fussy eaters! Restaurant is happy to swap corn on the cob for house veg, pace is relaxed, and waiting staff are at the top end of their game. Love it when someone has a birthday there and happy birthday is played followed by Congratulations!! Supported by a large car park and the brave can eat outside! Slightly pricey, we never qualify for vouchers as we eat there on Sunday only.
