Mayfair’s Colony is a New York-style Grill Room offering a timeless menu of grills and steaks, and a big helping of old-world glamour. Inspired by the clubby, sophisticated grill rooms of 1920s New York and London, the dining room features deep-red leather booths, wood-panelling, striking Art Deco murals and black & white caricatures of the great and good from a by-gone age.
Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, signature crowd pleasers on the Colony Grill menu include New York shrimp cocktail, Reuben sandwiches, the Colony Club salad, chicken pot pie, and a selection of dishes prepared table-side, including steak tartare and bananas Foster. The grill section encompasses gammon and Dover sole, as well as grain-fed USDA prime rib-eye steak and 30-day dry-aged Aberdeen Angus fillet, all served with French fries and a choice of sauces.
For dessert, consider sherry trifle, red velvet cake or oft-instagrammed “bespoke” ice cream sundaes, allowing for endless indulgent combinations. The comprehensive wine list at The Colony Grill in Mayfair takes in European classics and a wide selection from the New World, with a particularly in-depth collection from certain specially selected iconic growers.
Located within The Beaumont Hotel, just a few steps from Bond Street Station in north Mayfair, The Colony Grill in London is a classic that really feels as if it has been around since the 1930s, rather than 2014.

This is the 3rd time this year that I dined in this restaurant. Been going there at every visit bringing more friends who agreed that this restaurant has the best , juiciest, succulent steak in London!

Disappointing!!!! We went in a Tuesday evening and were seated at a small table in the middle of the room - we had the set menu - my friend had chicken main course which was so spicy it was inedible - nothing on the description on the menu suggested this servinig method. My steak was okay. My desert was weird - the apple crumble tasted odd and even the ice cream had a strange taste. Despite our not completing the two courses - the waiters were ambivalent. The restaurant location was difficult as it was so noisy we had to shout to speak - the individual booths are better to ask for seating at!
