A hotly-anticipated arrival in Soho, Belgo is part of the Belgian restaurant group established way back in in the 1990s. Choose your favourite brew from the Belgo bar, which showcases over 50 different beers.
Favourites on the Belgo menu include pulled duck croquettes and Mussels traditionelle. For something a little bit different, swap the classic mussel sauce for kimchi or green Thai. To finish, guests can build their own indulgent pudding, with a bubble waffle as the base. Belgo also offers a dedicated children's menu, as well as pre-theatre and express menus.
Sprawled over 2 floors with huge windows, an open kitchen and walls decked with colourful pictures and photographs, Belgo has a laidback but vibrant atmosphere. Belgo Soho is equipped with 4 individually themed caves, seating up to 14 people, offering the ultimate private dining experience.
In one of central London’s buzziest areas, Belgo is a 5-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

This was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. The service was slow, when the food did come it was cold and to top all of it all of the flavour was non-existent.

Seated downstairs which was noisy due to location of speakers and pretty cramped. Service was OK but we were left waiting for our mains for a while after starters came out within minutes, but food was bland, in my case inedible. The fish (fish and chips) had been fried within an inch of its life and was chewy and inedible. Bisque was gritty, mussels were bland. Real disappointment.

Would be 5 however the burger was pink in the middle, great for steak but not for minced meat. Also the door from the restaurant to the gents toilet could do with an auto close mechanism for two reasons A, the door has a fire advisory sticker saying keep closed, then a waiter jams it open. B, when closed the smell from the toilets was kept at bay. Thanks

Excellent service and beautiful food. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to have the seafood stew. And the lobster bisque was amazing
