I booked a table here for Valentine’s Day, such a cosy and romantic place! The food is excellent, fine and tasty A very special comment on the service, which we really enjoyed, leaving us the space but always checking if we need anything; overall,an amazing dinner experience Totally recommend it !

The food was very good! Every dish was in balance Service was excellent Only 1 thing that could be better and that was the seating! Next to a group of 9 people. If thé restaurant was full than ok you have no choise but now there was à lot of place in the next room... that is an organisational working point but for the rest is was very good!

We came for the first time last Monday evening to celebrate my daughter's 18th. It was an excellent experience. We had the set menu and all the choices of starters, main and dessert were enticing and delightful. The hen tortellini, octopus, and veal dishes deserve special mention. The food is of a high quality, and the restaurant has a luxurious yet intimate ambience. The touches such as amuse bouche added to the first class feel of the meal. The staff were helpful and courteous and we appreciated the gesture of sweets and biscuit plates with a birthday message piped on. Highly recommended and we would definitely come back to try more dishes. Many thanks to all the kind staff.

Beautiful restaurant, extremely welcoming staff, creative and delicious food. We ordered lunch menus, with Russian salad as amuse bouche, beef tartar with truffle and red mullet with tomatoes and smoked aubergines, all beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. Homemade bread was served warm with italian olive oil. I would say excellent value for money. Thank you chef and especial thanks to our waitress for exceptional service.

We thought the welcome to the restaurant, the ambience and service were all first rate. The scallop amuse bouche was lovely and we both had the tuna-stuffed peppers to start with, which was unusual and absolutely delicious. We also both ordered the veal which, we were told would come 'medium/rare', which suited us both. When it arrived, it most certainly was not medium/rare but an obviously slow-cooked, braised cut (as stated on the menu) which was, nevertheless, tender and melt-in-the-mouth. I had the zabaione and hazelnut tart dessert which I enjoyed, although I felt that the zabaione itself was a little too much, as it was very rich and the broken pieces of hazelnut tart not enough. If it had been the other way round, it would have been perfect. The wine list was comprehensive and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Altogether a good experience.

After having difficulty finding restaurant because of road works and confusing signs,we were welcomed warmly. The tea was very different and even a lady friend who does not normally like Afternoon Teas agreed it was worthwhile. The black bread was particularly soft and the fillings different to the usual fare one gets at Teas. The choice of teas was excellent and the service very good without being "in your face!"
