It was nice only went for the lamb NO lamb on the menu shame you could do with notifying guests at the door to which meat is on offer.

fantastic staff as normal friendly helpful,we arrived early and it was very busy with people waiting so anticipate having to wait.but no we was seated straight away,so very good idea being able to book. and also getting a reminder we had booked. Fantastic work and made enjoyable by having such friendly staff.

It is always very good and with lots of choices, four different meats and lots of veg, and potatoes done three different ways and puddings are really nice, the Eton mess does have too much cream in maybe more ice cream and meringue , but we have no complaints about anything else, always enjoy the meals.

The price of the meal is good value for money. Toby Carvery has been modernised and this makes a difference to your eating experienc. The only let down is possibly due to understaffing and this led to cuttlery being missed off the table. The staff worked very hard and given how busy they were, did extremely well. The carvery was hot and enjoyable. Excellent service.
