Disappointed as vegetables dry, too long under the heaters

The server was doing very well to cope with the demand (and the customers!) but still gave excellent customer service. It was very busy last night (silly season is well and truly upon us) and the waiter was also very busy but he was very polite, apologised for the minimal delays and ensured we had a pleasant visit.

We all really enjoyed our meal. The selection of veg was excellent. The meat was well cooked, and a great choice. And the staff are very friendly and give great service.

We have been many times before and the carvery has been excellent .But on this occasion the roast potatoes were very hard and the 3 of us had to leave them also it was not as hot as would expect.

My latest visit was probably the best yet, seated straight away, great service, no queues and plentiful fresh food. Can’t fault it, and plan to return next week.
