good food but like to know the best time to have sunday lunch without crying kids??? what I would give for a peaceful sunday lunch otherwise Tobys is great

good service and value for money spoilt by to many children running around it would be a much better if children were only allowd at a set time for example between 11 o clock and 12 30 this is just my opinion

The carvery was delicious, plenty of choice. The table we sat at was a little cramped for 5 people and we needed to open the window as it was very warm especially after eating. Overall the staff were only too happy to help.

Meal and food was delicious, I have been on numerous occasions and never been disappointed yet. Veg cooked as I like maybe the cauliflower was a little hard. Meat cooked to perfection.gravy and condiments good choice too. Chef was very pleasant and obliging. The people who I was with arrived before myself and my family - they were kept waiting at the station. Then told them where the table was. My cousin waited for a good 1/4 hr at the bar for drinks - not enough staff was the problem there. Atmosphere good, plenty of people as it was half term. The food made it for me though.
