Michelin-starred The Ninth is a contemporary restaurant from chef Jun Tanaka, serving up simple but refined French Mediterranean-style dishes, all made for sharing. Robust French classics are given Jun’s signature twist, with a focus on the finest seasonal produce and vibrant, honest flavours.
The Ninth menu begins with flavour-packed snacks, such as Carlingford oyster with elderflower and perilla, house duck chorizo, and oxtail croquettes. Follow this with the likes of langoustine ravioli with broad beans, crispy pig’s head with dandelion and apricot, and crispy rabbit with sweetcorn and truffle risotto.
Desserts are no less enticing, and include Paris Brest with tonka bean ice cream, and cherry and yoghurt pavlova. From the bar at The Ninth Fitzrovia comes an impressive selection of world wines designed to complement each dish.
The Ninth restaurant in London sits on vibrant Charlotte Street, a short walk from both Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road Tube stations.

This was my first visit to ninth and I was very impressed. First thing is that it isn't fussy. The service strikes the perfect balance and the over riding feeling is that the staff are happy to see you there. For me this is something most of our (London's) Michelin star restaurants have forgotten. I love the concept of sharing all the dishes and I think this really just adds to the experience. The food is stunning each dish a ground pleaser. It is almost impossible to tell you my favourite, but something that does stand out is how stunning all the side dishes were. This is the only restaurant in the World I have been too where a bowl of cavolo nero could stand up as a main course. This is hands down the best restaurant I have eaten in, in the last 12 months. Thanks for being there, thanks for making great food and I wish you all the success in the world.

Great choices on the menu including sea bass, burrata with mint and the truffle rabbit risotto. Buzzy atmosphere and good service, would recommend.
