The varied Shoryu menu is headed by ramen noodle dishes, made with 12-hour-cooked broth, juicy pork belly and a nitamago egg. Guests can select extra toppings, as well as sides like prawn tempura, gyoza dumplings and doughy shoryu buns. Traditional desserts at Shoryu include mochi balls, cleansing sorbets and Japanese-inspired cheesecakes and cakes.
Along with a list of enticing house cocktails, Shoryu in Manchester serves iced beers and Japanese whisky, and a sake-expert sommelier is on hand to help with matching drinks. In the dining room, guests can dine at communal benches for views into the kitchen, at private tables, all in chic, minimalist surroundings with Japanese stylistic touches.

A family birthday dinner. The staff where faultless and so friendly. The food was lovely and all the family loved each dish. We highly recommend this restaurant! It was our first time, however, we will definitely be going back soon!
