We did not have a good dining experience at all. We had booked a prosecco afternoon tea for 2 that we had a voucher for and when we arrived it didn’t seem like it was booked. We were asked what we would like to drink, we ordered a soft drink and advised we did not want the prosecco as both driving, that was fine and the prosecco was exchanged for 2 draft pepsi. We then waited 30 minutes for our food. When it came there was 2 small crusty bread cuts with tomatoes and avocado. There was 4 quarters of a sandwich! 2 with salmon and 2 with ham. 2 scones with jam and cream and 6 small cakes. There was nowhere near enough sandwiches for two of us. Some of it was not to our tasting which is likely to happen anywhere but we both left really hungry and had to go elsewhere to get lunch. The worst part was with our “Afternoon Tea” there was no TEA!!! I couldn’t believe it! I will definitely not be returning here for afternoon tea!

Food was excellent. Enough choice on the menu and was fresh and well cooked. Steak cooked as instructed and very tasty.

Unfortunately the service was appalling at the hotel restaurant due to problems In the kitchen or serving area . they didn't know we had booked a table in the restaurant. The dinner took nearly 3 hours to get a starter and A main so no dessert due to the lateness of the night with 2 children one bring only 3 yrs old Major issues in kitchen/ restaurant Very disappointed as was looking forward to quality family break with my wife and children
