This restaurant is over hyped, the food was expensive, and very underwhelming The restaurant manger, couldn't even be bothered to come over himself to deal with the complaint of a cold lobster (freezing)

First time visit. Service was excellent and staff were very polite and professional. Food was excellent, quails eggs to start followed by a fillet steak cooked to perfection.

The overall experience was very good - we ate there twice and found the staff really helpful and friendly and the food very good. Unfortunately we found the menu selection limiting and on both occasions one of us chose a starter from the set menu and a main from the a l carte. It seems the accounting system finds that difficult to manage. On both visits we took advantage of the wine offer (buy two glasses and the bottle is on us). However, our first visit cost us £60+ and the second £80+! Same bread, wine, one £25 two course offer and one a la carte starter (soup) plus one main from the set menu. On this occasion the offer main was the steak night offer for which we were fully charged - without any 'free glass of wine' . Needs sorting out.
