Experience was pleasant, nice atmosphere, lovely food. Staff weren’t very attentive but we didn’t really need them. Quite expensive and very high service charge.

Love the dauphinois but would like a larger portion. Not a lot of room on the table.

Very disappointed. Had previously eaten at Loch Fyne for more than 15 years but first time being so disappointed. Reasons: 1. How come a seafood/fish restaurant does not have the main items at lunch time on a Sunday? I booked our table for 4 at 12:45. On arrival was told that there was no Lobsters, no oysters, no crabs and no langoustines. Very disappointed. If we knew, we would have gone to a different restaurant. 2. Restaurant was full on a Sunday lunch time but there was not enough staff to serve. So, had to wait forever for service. 3 Existing staff were too confused about mixing people's orders. 4. Paid £12.95 in service charges when actually there was no service. Other than that, the food that we ordered and were served were nice and tasty.

We were very disappointed as the plates were dirty and the food in bad condition (salmon was nearly black rather than pink). We left the restaurant after attempting the starters then went to an alternative local restaurant instead.

The food was overall very good and reasonably priced, the service was efficient and friendly but the venue itself was very busy and as it was so close between tables it was hard to achieve a sense of privacy and impossible not to hear louder conversations at neighbouring tables. It feels like too many tables have been squeezed into the space.

Sadly I ordered belly pork but no crackling and we had to wait over an hour for our meal.
