Excellent- really well priced, delicious food and great service. Just wish it was open for drinks after the show finishes, otherwise it’s brilliant for pre-theatre dinner

The food was very good, I'd say it was a little expensive given the sizes of each portion, but I'd rather over pay for good food than get bad food cheaply. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful but didn't seem to have sorted out which of them was serving us i.e we were asked several things twice by different staff.

Enjoy the food but this time let down by not having wine glasses I am choose what sort of a glass I am given and a tumbler for wine is not on.. However, on complaining twice to different waiters, we were given wine glasses just out of dishwasher I suggest they buy more to avoid this situation.

Great food, shocking service!! Although a two or three course set menu is offered for pre theater diners, tables are set with only one set of cutlery resulting in everyone (seen near us) having to ask for main course cutlery, why not save time and set tables with two sets? It took a while for an order to be taken and then starters arrived before the drinks which we had to chased twice, nothing complicated a jug of water, cranberry juice and a glass of wine and as four staff were seen behind the bar at one point a 15 minute wait seems a bit crazy. The young team were lacking direction, most wandering around tables with no clear idea of what stage of the meal most customers were at. The lady who appeared in charge took over service part way through which greatly improved the experience but it was such a shame as the menu choice and quality of food was very good. I would recommend to others but based on food quality only.

very good attentive staff, meals choice good even on the set menu, sensible proportions well presented. Ideal for pre threatre meals. We enjoyed the evening very much.

It was enjoyable, though a bit chaotic in terms of service and times. It was very busy but that must have been known in advance. The waiting staff were friendly but not particularly efficient - we were asked what we would like for dessert as they cleared away our starters! We ordered drinks at the bar - just three glasses of wine, which took forever as the guy was on his first night and struggled with everything - prices and giving change etc. Also no offer of water at the table, we had to ask for a jug which never came, just 3 individual glasses - is it rationed The starters were good and quite substantial which was lucky as my main (sardines) was very meagre and was starter sized. My friends' kebabs were a better choice. The food was good, but not exciting and the only choice was the pre-theatre menu which was not value for money (£16.95 for two courses - see comment above re portion sizes). We enjoyed the theatre atmosphere and the sharing tables created a buzz but as a restaurant it could do with upping its game.
