    The live music was excellent although when they were given requests they didn't always play them which was disappointing. The food was better than anticipated (albeit somewhat spicy, the soup and the tostadas eaten by my friend and I ). Whilst the cocktails were very good value with a reasonable selection, the wine, by compariosn, was very poor. It was a Wednesday night when the offer was that all bottles of wine were charged at the same price as the house wine i.e. £22. A good deal except........... all the wines we wanted were conveniently "out of stock" (what a coincidence!) and there was a choice (pre selected by the restaurant) of about five red wines. We tasted a couple which we found unpalatable and ended up with a Cabernet Merlot (I think) which was literally the best of a bad bunch! I've never been known to leave any but I did that night! If your'e doing a promotion on wine PLEASE ensure that you have the stock to cover it. It has put us off going again.

    Piano works is a great venue. Amazing piano players and singers, no song was beyond their reach and really played to the crowd. Food/bar staff were very personable and attentive. Food was good and hearty portions. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

    Food was fine. Music was good. But it was way too loud for dinner. Better as just a bar. They should lower the volume up until 9:30, when all the dining tables are removed to make way for the dance floor.
