From beginning to end our evening at Siren was absolutely wonderful. The upmost professional yet completely friendly service, very comfortable chairs and good sized tables. The seating area is great, very spacious with glass and trees well used. The food really is the star of the show. I’ve been a massive admirer of Ginger Sawyer’s work for quite a while now and it feels it’s just got even better. Absolutely exceptional dishes with some incredibly complex flavours yet nothing that detracts from the seafood itself. It goes without saying that everything was beautifully cooked and paired well together. This is the first of many dining experiences at Siren, many thanks all

A very noisy place - we 4 could not chat easily. This was frustrating and killed ambiance. Waiters were pretentious with one exception. Ordering could be made more simple please. Choices were good but presenting the choices was ponderous.

We were made very welcome and looked after by friendly knowledgeable staff. The food was excellent. We shared a turbot cooked to perfection and enjoyed some excellent wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.

£180 per head was too expensive for what you got

Although a regular luncheon partaker at The Goring this occasion was the first opportunity of lunching at The Siren. Having been some months without lunching at The Goring due to health problems I was admiring of the newly furnished bar and my guest and I were particularly impressed with the new uniforms of both the female and male staff. Refreshing. The ambience of The Siren with its view over the famous Goring garden as also it furnishings. The menu was exciting and salivating and will make it a difficult choice in future to decide in which restaurant at The Goring to eat. The food was absolutely delicious. The sauces were sublime. The freshness of the fish dishes was palpable. The first of many visits it seems.

All staff very professional, friendly and not overly formal. The Siren dinning room we both thought was relaxed in style, the tables well placed to give each their own space and noise levels were also well dampened. our table was exactly as requested, menu explained and knowledge of dishes by serving staff very good. Good selection of wines by the glass. Waiting times for each course were acceptable. All the courses were very good indeed, the cooking of the Turbot exceptionally so. Points for consideration arising from our experience: The library style chairs we thought were not that comfortable as dining chairs, my partner asked if she could change the chair for one of the upright seats, which was done without question and which she was more comfortable in. it may be the house style to when serving a whole fish to expect the dinners to fillet and serve themselves, we were quite happy to do so as we are experienced fish eaters, however we felt that at least the question should be asked when placing the fish if they or the waiter should serve the fish. We felt the mash potato accompanent was not really very warm when it was served and very quickly became cold, it was canned upon request without question and the replacement was indeed much hotter from the start. I must stress these points are nota major ones and they did not detract at all from our dining experience,in fact the way they were dealt with by the staff was very much appreciated.

Early dinner at Siren after exhibition in Chelsea. Friendly and attentive service, as always. Particularly enjoyed the whipped, smoked cod's roe served with the bread. My wife was highly impressed with the lobster fritters: "one of the best starters ever". Stuck with the whole monkfish for two as main - as impressive as the last time we tried it. Siren has expanded the menu since our previous visit; also some prices reduced and a "set menu" option added. Still expensive, but less eyewateringly so! Negatives? Drinks prices at The Goring are never cheap, and Friday was no exception. However, a thoroughly enjoyable evening overall.
