    Food was fantastic and high quality. The service was faultless and we really enjoyed our experience here. The risotto was amazing!!

    Great experience. Very good value for money afternoon tea, with an excellent selection of finger sandwiches and cakes. Staff were attentive, very friendly and professional. The toilets are A+, which sounds an odd thing to comment on, but it makes a big difference to how you view a place. My friends hadn't been before but were most impressed and want to go back. It's convenient for Victoria trains/trams and easy to find. I'm definitely going back again. Highly recommended - faultless!

    The cheesemas offer of 1kg Camembert with all the trimmings, and the option to add bottomless mulled wine or prosecco is fantastic! Lovely place, very trendy and brilliant service.

    Food was pleasant but the service left us extremely disappointed. All other tables except us were greeted with Xmas crackers, eventually got ours with dessert despite asking before mains. Asked twice for drinks menu after complimentary pre-dinner champagne and three times for cocktails which eventually arrived as we were finishing last mouthful of main. And just served in a lowball glass, no flair which cocktails usually have! Don't think bar staff knew what they were doing. Huge gap before plates were removed after courses. Waited 20min for any wait staff to come close enough to order after dinner coffee/tea. Tea arrived as just a teapot - no cup, milk or sugar and when these were brought, there was no spoon ! Was I supposed to use my finger to stir it? Then waited another 45min for the bill, all other tables were presented with bills shortly after coffee and petit fours were brought to them. The staff were standing around talking and the way seating was arranged meant they didn't walk past our table unless they were coming to us. No way to catch wait staff as they walked past to ask for the bill. Travelled from NZ and expected much better service from a restaurant that was promoting itself as "up market".

    The food was absolutely gorgeous and service good. The only disappointing thing is that we were charged more than our booking confirmation told us it would be, and there was a service charge added to the bill. We would have left a tip anyway but adding it to the bill seemed odd for only a party of two. The confirmation email said it would be £16.95 each but we ended up paying £19.45 each and a service charge. Could have been more variety for vegetarian sandwiches but the two they did have were gorgeous so not too fussed.
