We’ve been to WC a few times in the past and loved it. Unfortunately it seems there has been a change in management since we last went (over a year or so ago). Firstly we asked if we could order a cocktail off menu and were told we couldn’t. We were looking for standard cocktails that any bar worker should know the recipe for. The cocktail list was quite strange with none of the usual favourites (we also drink almost anything) and the espresso martini was unavailable (surely what most people would be ordering). As a result we didn’t have a cocktail so the restaurant missed out on decent revenue (we would have had a couple each). In addition, there were only 2 red wines available. This is very strange considering you mainly serve cheese and meats which surely go with red wine. The 2 on offer were either 10 quid a glass or 20 quid a glass, so there was really only one option (for most people). The server was perfectly pleasant but clearly stretched. He was plenty attentive however when he served the cheese and meats he didn’t say what each thing was, which I thought strange considering it would take about 30 seconds to say). The selection was perfectly nice but I thought expensive for the quantity that we got. The ambience is great and we were given a booth seat which was fab, however I thought it was a bit on the cold side and I think the restaurant missed out on opportunities to up sell us (the server didn’t ask for feedback on the meal or if we’d like to order another glass of wine etc. The PDQ machine also wasn’t working but that didn’t ruin the night. All in all a nice place but we would probably not return considering the vast amount of other options in the local area.

We had the best evening here. It’s super cosy and the wine list is great. Cocktails were lovely. Food was really super, especially the warm artichoke dip which was really delicious. Staff were amazing as well. So friendly and helpful!

Good looking restaurant. Ideal date venue Good wine list Staff- especially Freya were incredibly friendly and helpful Food was good. The boards were pretty small. Stingy with cheese, condiments and meat servings for the price. Heavy on the bread and crackers. Overall still a great experience, but when a you’re paying 15ish quid for a plate an air of generosity would be nice. I’d come again

What a fabulous night we had. The venue is super cool and the staff were the best. Amazing wine, cocktails and food. This is the best kept secret in London, I can't wait to tell all my friends (that can keep a secret) all about it!
