Great lovely Sunday lunch

The staff are great. Love the food Very efficient with the first two courses,when it came to the dessert it took over 25 minutes. The staff apologised,I think they just forgot until I asked after nearly 15 minutes of waiting. I would recommend trying.

Excellent food. Very good friendly service. I think management have made a good job of keeping the restaurant COVID secure.

2 tables of 2 lunch. Due to the covid restrictions, the staff were very helpful to enable us to have a table near our friends and as the restaurant was quiet, they turned down the music so we could chat more easily. Good quality food, served by friendly staff.

Arrived slightly later than planned but greeted with a friendly smile and showed to our table. Lovely menu explained in detail by friendly waitress. Meals chosen were excellent and look forward to returning to try some of the other dishes which looked very good. Would have liked some real ale on draught but the one served was a very good alternative.

Food was very good, although for Sunday Lunch the portion size was too great. Best Roast Beef I have every had and great desserts. Due to virus issues the atmosphere could be better, but that was not the restaurants problem. My only issue would be for a restaurant which market's itself on fine dinning, I think the service could be "sharper" as this is what sets one above another

Lovely pub and atmosphere. Was let down by the Sunday dinner. I was really looking forward to this after seeing photos and the price was quite expensive so I was expecting it to be of high standard. But unfortunately I was disappointed and didn’t feel it was up to standard for the cost. I wonder if this was due to going later in the day as the Yorkshire puddings were completely stone cold and the meat wasn’t very warm either after eating a quarter of my dinner it had also gone cold. So I wonder if the food had been sat out for quite a long time. The rest of the food was fine. Staff were friendly asked if we needed anything at the beginning of the meal before we had eaten anything but didn’t ask us how our meal was till the end.
