The spicy dishes on the hearty Yatri menu are made from traditional recipes and served in deep metal trays alongside fluffy naan. To start, have a vegetable samosa and chutneys as you sip a pani puri mojito, with an added kick of coriander. Choose from a range of authentic curries, including the tamarind and coconut-based Yatri’s railway chicken curry.
Yatri restaurant brings Indian culture to King’s Cross with vintage styled artwork of landmarks, photographs of people and an elephant illustration on the walls. The rest of the interior is modest and clean with black bench sofas and trendy overhanging bulbs but features pops of colour from behind the red-lit bar.

Restaurant was full when we arrived at 7:30 PM-always a good sign that there's good food around. Service and food were good. Prices reasonable. Only one small complaint and that wasn't a fault of the restaurant-everybody seemed to leave by 9:30 PM. We were the last to leave at 10 PM!

Everything was really good, nicely presented, flavoursome rather than simply hot. Food arrived very quickly. Bonus mark from me for having proper, cloudy apple juice.

Food was tasty and flavourful, not laden with heavy sauces. The restaurant closes at 2:45pm , we booked for 1:30 but due to underground delays arrived at1:45, so couldn't spend as much time as we wanted. Service was prompt.

Loved Yatri, excellent service and superb food, the lamb chops starter were spectacular as were the prawns and the chicken curry. We went for the three courses £20 with prosecco deal and it's incredibly good value
